This cool concept of deer-shaped pylons was created by DesignDepot, a design studio located in Moscow. They look so much better than the usual ones, but the manufacturing costs would probably be too high to make it happen.

While the name of the artist may sound unfamiliar to many, I’m sure most of you have already seen Kyle’s amazing collection of Pencil Shaving Portraits or the famous Chicken made from eggshells. This time, Brighton-based designer Kyle Bean created a collection of harmless weapons for an article in CUT Magazine centered around the topic of ‘Guerrilla Gardening’ and ‘Yarn Bombing’.
Personally, my favorite one is the feather knife as the feather perfectly matches the size and the shape of the knife while at the same time being completely harmless. Other weapons are also great, and you just can’t not love the minimalism and clever selection of the background colors!
Kyle Specializes in hand crafted models, set design and art direction, and since graduating in 2009, he has worked across a variety of platforms including installations, window displays, editorial and advertising.

This Santa Claus hat brownie idea is candy to the eyes! So simple, yet absolutely cute – you can feel the Christmas spirit!
“To assemble, pipe a ring of vanilla buttercream on top of each brownie. Cut off the base of a strawberry so it is flat and place it upside down on each brownie, pushing slightly to secure in place. Top the tip of the strawberry with a dot of buttercream to finish the Santa hat.” (full recipe: Daisy’s Word)

You may not want it, but it turns out that human nose could be easily turned into a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle!
“God is the artist. I just find the ninja turtle in his work,” says the subtitle of a TMNN tumblr blog dedicated to finding these turtles. You can even submit your own photos with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Nose. However, note that it doesn’t work with a panda nose.

It was in the back corner of McDonalds with a couple of hours to wait for a train home to Norwich, that theDot first came together. Freshly inspired by a weekend at the 4designers conference in London and having traipsed around museums and exhibitions all day, three minds came together over chicken burgers and chips.
The three are currently studying Graphic Communication at Norwich University College of the Arts, where they delve into advertising, corporate branding, design for publishing, photography, illustration and so on. All confident in their skills, but continuing on their learning journey.
