More Creepily Realistic Body Art by Chooo-San

October 26th, 2012 by Tomas | No Comments | Filed in Design

With Halloween approaching, many of you are probably looking for costume and make-up ideas. Maybe this Japanese art student Chooo-San, aged 19, could inspire you: her new body paint works started circling the Internet and would definitely pass for an impressive Halloween costume.

As we wrote before, Chooo-San uses only acrylic paint and her talent to transform herself into a mutant or cyborg. Multiple mouths, six eyes or even batteries protruding from her forearms – these are just a few examples of what she can do with a human body.

What started as a way to procrastinate before her university exams (Chooo-San would start drawing eyes and other objects on her hands) has turned into a very characteristic and viral drawings. Probably that’s not exactly what the professors would teach her!

Realistic Body Art by Chooo-San

Japanese art student Chooo-San, aged 19, uses only acrylic paint and her incredible talent to transform herself into a mutant or cyborg. Multiple mouths, six eyes or even batteries protruding from her forearms – these are just a few examples of what she can do with a human body.

Everything began when Chooo-San was studying for university admission exams. She would draw eyes and other objects on her hands while taking breaks from her studies.

Finally, she took her hobby a step further and created a portfolio of her realistic body paintings. The results look incredibly promising and reminds me of Creepily Realistic Tattoos by Yomico Moreno. Chooo-San is on a good track, and I’m pretty sure we’ll see her on Bored Panda again.

Creepily Realistic Tattoos by Yomico Moreno

March 26th, 2012 by Tomas | No Comments | Filed in Design

Venezuelan tattoo artist Yomico Moreno creates some of the creepiest and most realistic muscle tissue and biomech tattoos you’ll ever see. Personally, I have no problem looking at these images, but after seeing my girlfriend’s reaction (I’ve never seen her so shocked) I think I have to put a warning.

Caution: Some images may be too intense for some viewers, so if you are a sensitive person, please leave this page now!

Moreno became interested in tattooing at the age of 14 and since then has dedicated his life to it. He says that his favorite style is realism because it’s the most challenging. The artist has been in professional tattoo business for approximately 9 years now, participating in numerous conventions in England, Denmark, Italy, Belgium and Australia.

  • About us

It was in the back corner of McDonalds with a couple of hours to wait for a train home to Norwich, that theDot first came together. Freshly inspired by a weekend at the 4designers conference in London and having traipsed around museums and exhibitions all day, three minds came together over chicken burgers and chips.

The three are currently studying Graphic Communication at Norwich University College of the Arts, where they delve into advertising, corporate branding, design for publishing, photography, illustration and so on. All confident in their skills, but continuing on their learning journey.

We are a new design group hoping to achieve great things
